Some things to expect your first bus bike ride

Start time + How it Works

The Bike Bus rolls out at 8:20 a.m.

You can:

  • Start at the beginning of the route

  • Or hop in anywhere along the route as the Bike Bus rides by

We recommend arriving a few minutes early if you plan to join at the start.

Weather

If the weather is unsafe (rain, snow, ice, or extreme cold), we may cancel the ride.

If its safe with a little weather, we will ride with appropriate gear.

We’ll share updates via email and/or social media, so be sure to stay in the loop.

What to Bring

To help your ride go smoothly:

  • A properly fitted helmet (required)

  • A bike (or scooter) in safe working condition

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

  • A secure backpack

  • Water, if needed
