Some things to expect your first bus bike ride

Start time + How it Works

The Bike Bus rolls out at 8:10 a.m.

You can:

  • Start at the beginning of the route (see below)

  • Or hop in anywhere along the route as the Bike Bus rides by

We recommend arriving a few minutes early if you plan to join at the start.

Weather

If its safe with a little weather, we will ride with appropriate gear.

Updates on social media/email.

What to Bring

To help your ride go smoothly:

  • Helmet, please!

  • A bike (or scooter) in safe working condition

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

  • Don’t forget your backpack :)

Optional but fun:
bells, streamers, or extra Bike Bus spirit ✨

We need help!

Please sign up:

  • Lead the Bike Bus, kids behind the leader

  • Be the caboose (catch stragglers)

  • Be a safety/intersection guard

  • Sign up to be the leader of fun - set the playlist, bring the music, bubbles, or whatever else fun you can think of.
