Shep Bike Bus

❊ About Us

Building Community.
One Ride at a Time.

Our hope is Shep Bike Bus will promote biking as a healthy and eco-friendly commuting option for our school aged kids.

Our first rides are scheduled for Wednesday April 22nd and Wednesday of May 6, 2026.

We’re organizing groups of kids to ride together to school on a weekly basis. By fostering camaraderie and providing a sense of safety, the Bike Bus helps kids build confidence and experience biking as a fun, social activity.

This initiative not only reduces traffic congestion and carbon emissions, but also helps instill a lifelong habit of active transportation.

Why we started the Bike Bus

We wanted a better way for our kids to get to school — one that felt fun, active, and connected to our community.

The Bike Bus is about more than just getting to school. It’s about independence, fresh air, and starting the day with joy.

Who’s behind this

Shep Bike Bus is a parent-led effort built by Shepardson families who care about creating a safer, more fun way for kids to get to school.
